New Time

Yet there is a beginning that has no beginning, nor time to mark it.

Beginning denotes time.
Yet there is a beginning
That has no beginning,
Nor time to mark it.

Before time–began,
In eternity past,
When time was not—
Our life journey was planned.

The year behind us
Was all in God’s design
All good and bad
To bless us with His blessing.

So now as we step
Into this new year in–time
Let us remember
God’s presence to guide us.

For some it is a fresh start—
Forgetting the dark and gloomy days,
To renounce negative thoughts
Of guilt, failure and sin.

Take the hand of the invisible One—
The God who cares and loves.
Shake off all that holds you down;
Look up with hope, optimism and confidence.

You are blessed.
