You are the only one, O Lord
who sees and knows
the agony of my troubled heart
and You alone can make me whole.
I am tired and weary
exhausted and drained
for I don’t know what to do
with problems I can’t even define.
Your Word tells me You care
every hair on my head is known to You.
Change my heart by Your grace
cause me to trust You no matter what.
Calm my troubled soul
with Your love and grace
heal my wounds by Your Word
Please help me feel I am safe.
Help me to cast away doubts and fears
and trust in Your love
that never changes
For You are sovereign and You keep Your Word.
Thank You for hearing the cry of my heart.
Your grace and love I receive now—
My heart is filled with faith, hope and love
I am so glad I am not alone.

A verse that has spoken to me several times is Philippians 1:6 – “And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ.”
It reminds me that no matter how many times I fail, when I come back to the Lord in repentance He continues to work out the road of sanctification in my life.
